We’re Looking for Two New Board Members – Join Us!
Elevation Outdoors is growing—and so is our Board! We’re currently seeking two new Board members to help guide our continued impact in the Central Okanagan. If you’re passionate about youth, outdoor recreation, and community well-being, this is a great opportunity to make a difference.
We’re especially looking for individuals with experience in HR, fundraising, or law, but we welcome all who bring diverse perspectives and a commitment to equity, inclusion, and local impact. Ideally, you’re located in Kelowna, BC and have a strong understanding of our local community and its needs.
At this time, we have a preference for female applicants to support greater gender balance on our Board—but we will gladly consider strong applications from anyone with a passion for our mission.
What’s Involved?
- Board meetings are held every two months on Tuesdays at noon
- Most Board members contribute about 3–4 hours per month, including subcommittee work
- You’ll help shape strategy, strengthen governance, and champion Elevation Outdoors in the community
- This is a volunteer (unpaid) position, but the impact is huge
Elevation Outdoors is committed to creating opportunities for youth who face barriers. As a Board member, you’ll play a key role in helping us continue to remove those barriers and expand access to the outdoors.
